Love her or hate her , underneath that hardening shell of hers , she does have a heart and knows when to give when the going gets tough. After I don't know how many failed marriages ,and the passing of her mother Lila , brother Alan and Edward Quartermaine she manages to keep the family together , even if it means driving her sister in law Monica Quartermaine nuts hahahaha! A conartist indeed , but a family woman first. You mess with her family you'll have to go thru her first.
Whatever she wants and if you want what she has , you're going have to play by her rules and hers ONLY!
Remember when she got thrown out of her house for blackmailing her niece Skye for her shares of the family business ELQ , because she's not a Quartermaine? Yep that's her , trying to get what's hers and will be damned if some outsider will steal from her!!
Now there's word from the web that Jane is leaving the role of Tracy Quartermaine. Yes it's true , Jane is retiring from the long-time running soap , after being in the business for 51 years.
